Foresights Foundry was formed in March 2023 by three friends looking to help others imagine the future and build plans to make their future a reality. Our strong bond and shared passion for planning, finances, family, and building the future creates our foundation for financial education.

Cameron Dodd

Cameron has years of experience in state budgeting and strategic planning. He loves learning new information and unsurprisingly loves planning things. He has a master’s degree in public administration. His hope with Foresights is to show people that financial planning, budgeting, and strategic planning are not unobtainable and that they make a big impact on personal fulfillment. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys hiking, kayaking, and cooking with his wife. He has never met a board or card game he did not like.

Samantha Lamon

Samantha has years of budget planning and management experience with government agencies and is currently the Chief Financial Officer for a state agency. She has a master’s degree in public policy and administration and is always looking to find the easiest and most efficient way to get things done. In her downtime, she enjoys playing video games, reading, cross-stitching, learning miscellaneous nonsense and hanging out with her fiancé and two dogs.

Troy Williamson

Troy has years of analytics experience working with planning budgets for numerous government agencies and building capital projects. He’s a spreadsheet nerd with master’s degrees in analytics and public administration. His main interest in foresights is to ensure his family has a wonderful and happy future. He also loves biking and hiking with his wife and daughters, plays trombone, and pew pew-ing in video games.
